During 2001, Christ’s Hands opened the first homeless shelter in Harlan County and has housed more than 50,000 night stays. The shelter has operated in various ways in partnership with the community. The shelter is open from December 1st - February 28th. Hours of operation are 8pm - 8am. Check in must be completed by 10pm.
