The primary goal of the Empowering Youth Groups (EYG) ministry is to equip churches with resources that will allow them to provide incentives for their youth groups. It is our prayer that this will not only provide for the basic needs of our children, but more importantly encourage them to attend services where they will learn about Jesus through faith-based instruction and come to know Him personally as their Lord and Savior.

 

The EYG ministry is an extension of Christ’s Hands and exists due to the donations, support and partnerships of organizations, churches and individuals who have a desire to see the youth ministries of our churches grow, providing a foundation and support system for these churches going forward.

Please be in prayer for this ministry and that it will glorify God by demonstrating His love through compassion and goodwill. The items we gather and distribute to any church in need include:

• Non-perishable snacks, drinks, etc. (items that can be given to the kids during Bible study or Sunday School services)

• Sleeping bags

• Blankets

• Raincoats & windbreakers with hoods

• Gently used age-appropriate clothing for youth

• New socks & underwear

• Shoes/boots in good condition

• Backpacks

• Hygiene items including: toothpaste, toothbrushes, deodorant, shampoo, soap (travel size welcome), etc.

• School supplies

• Board games

• Children’s books

• Alarm clocks

• Reusable Water Bottles
